First artwork on newly reformatted compy......which is still having the same problems.
...Anyway, I enjoy The Lion King and Kimba the White Lion, so I drew this.

P.S. - No bickering allowed.
Leave a negative comment about either TLK or Kimba and I will hide it.
Kimba was a great show.
The Lion King was a great movie.
"Inspiration" is common in Disney movies -- We'll leave it at that and be mature about it, yus?

Very cute pic, even it I never liked Simba himself or watched Kimba's show 
I was thinking... how it would be if drawing the two of them, but in the same style (something in between the two shows/movies)?

Haha, funny you should say that! Originally, the idea (which I got from ) was to draw Simba in Kimba's style, and Kimba in Simba's! But as the sketch went on I decided to just draw them normally for now -- but in the future, I may play with something like that, because I like the idea of it!!

Isn't Kimba called Leo or is that because i saw the japanese tranlated version?

He was called Leo in the Japanese version. The American version of the series called him 'Kimba' because Leo seemed too plain. But in the latest movie, Jungle Emperor Leo, his name stayed as Leo, even in America - but the character is the same. :3

It's very good -- if you get a chance, please check it out! :3 Just keep in mind that it is a very old show, so the animation is a bit jumpy. However, the story is beautiful and original, and the style is very cute.

Yup! There is a series, but from a LONG time ago - 1966 I think...maybe a little later? Anyway, the movie, Jungle Emperor Leo, is a beautiful film! I love it very much!

Jungle Emperor Leo was my favorite movie as a kid....used to watch it OVER AND OVER....still get tears about it to this day.
I remember having The Lion King 2 instead of the first one so when I did watch it, it did not make me as sad. 0o Maybe I screwed up lol

Oh, the Jungle Emperor Leo movie was absolutely beautiful! I love it so much, in fact, while I was drawing this, I wanted to watch it so badly! I have it on DVD, but I'm not sure where it is right now D:
I have only seen The Lion King 2 one time, and I remember it being okay, I've never really liked Disney's sequels though. I would definitely recommend that you see the original!

Oh! I forgot to mention, I drew this when I still didn't have internet, and I don't have the Kimba DVD set - so I used the original Mangas, where he does not have that hair. I considered drawing it in afterwards...but I decided not to. x3
