These are always fun to read, and overall are inspirational. Just sometimes feels hard to apply the same techniques and have it look good with your drawing style. ><;

Looking good is less important, in my humble opinion. It's really about getting the narrative or story across. Looking good comes along with time and observation and practice. But the story is something everyone can tell.

I don't usually use grayscale... but when I do, I filter the crud out of it. XD;

I do, every once in a while. Not as often as I used to though, since school is taking its toll.

I do love to see the end result but all the grind to get to it, one thing for sure am glad at least that there are folks who have the nerve to do this. Great tutorial nevertheless.Β

This is so very awesome! Thank you for taking the time to show us the step-by-step process from the very beginning. These types of tutorials are always incredibly helpful, especially as you used the greyscale approach for this particular picture - that's always an interesting process to see!

Even though I watched the stream, it's really useful to have the info in a written form, so to say, as the memory can falter otherwise. Thank you!! -grabs the step-by-step and glomps it-
ps: this, somehow, makes me feel like I'm back to school, only this is in infinitely more fun 'class' to have. :>

Oh wow..
You are also a wizard for using greyscale, I cannot figure out such a method for myself, despite a friend trying to guide me. But I still admire those who can work so fluidly with that method.
Witchcraft, I tell you!

I only recently stumbled on the method myself, from Juuhanna I believe. But this is an adaptation of her method which was different enough to warrant its own process. I usually work straight from color though. o vo

I don't usually work from grayscale to color though. XD This is unusual for me.
