She had two minutes.
Ladybug lay crumpled against the wall, her wounds on her body slowly releasing blood. She was breathing heavily now, her normally exotic blue eyes tired. Her legs were completely lifeless, thanks to an unlucky blow from Simulacr-- Adrien. This was Adrien she was saving. His ability was to drain life from things, and that what he had done. Several people were in the hospital, in ''exhaustion coma's''. Her legs were completely useless at this point, so she had been trying to reason with Adrien.
It wasn't working.
He now stood ten paces from her, tears freely falling from his eyes. He had been chanting 'I'm sorry' over and over again. He had nearly broken at free when he had hit her, he had come so, so close. But something kept him held there. He had his hand just above her head, ready to drain the energy from her. Ladybug took a breath.
"No matter what...I'll save you...I promise," she mumbled, watching as Adrien retracted his hand. Ladybug had spotted Alya behind a wall, watching in fear. Ladybug heard her Miraculous beep once more before a light filled her and she transformed. When she did, the magic that protected her from physical pain wore off, and she felt her chest get heavy and his legs felt like they weighed a ton.
Adrien froze.
Alya froze.
Everything and everyone around her froze as they found out who Paris' superheroine was.
And it was no more than a school girl.
