High five for watching Rick and Morty! If there's one show I'd add to that list of yours, it would be the Venture Brothers. Best original show that Adult Swim came up with, but I'll admit that Rick and Morty is chomping at the bit pretty hard.Β

You and me both. I was completely blindsided, by just how good Rick and Morty was. The commercials prior to the show's pilot, weren't inspiring faith in me, and I was afraid that the show was going to be mindless. Still I gave the show my time, and it paid off in a huge way. After Lawnmower Dog aired I was hooked, and I knew I had found a brand new show to follow. I am definitely getting the season 1 DVD when it comes out. I loved the finale though, fuck James Cameron's Titanic. That thing sucked, and it was a slap in the face to all who were involved in the actual event.
I actually think that Rick and Morty owe something to the Venture Bros. After all it was Hammer, and Publick that paved the way. And oddly enough, Venture Bros was another show I was on the fence about back when it came on the air. These Sci Fi animated shows, Adult Swim comes out with just keep paying off.Β
