I was so worried if Twi might get the wrong one what with how relentless she was with the 'Return to Mirror Pool' spell . . . but what if she did?
Another test drawing (been testing effects), although related to recent episode. Had it in scraps a moment ago since I thought the drawing was kinda meh, but I changed my mind.
I got nothing against Pinkie, nor am I in a mood, so don't worry! The 'Severed' drawing (if you watch my scraps you'd have seen this drawing ) was on accident (it started out as a happier drawing), but then the episode sort of gave me a dark vibe so it just happened to make me make a second Pinkie/Dark drawing.
Sorry for the touch of semi-grimdark just after the episode, but this is what stood out to me the most in the episode.

I loved this episode because of how it could, and poissibly would, not have the true pinkie.

A fake Mirror Pool Pinkie wouldn't know who Princess Celestia is, and that she had to write friendship reports to her. ^^

...oh, who am I fooling? The way the episode treated the test, it did worry me a bit. Not so much the "watching paint dry" part than Rainbow's distraction. That could have easily distracted momentarily even the real Pinkie, and considering how Twilight was so... trigger-happy... there... >_<

Oh, I promised myself to watch this episode before commenting. I see this possibility, but I'm sure the real one is fine. I hope so. I think they should have separated the Pinkie who stands out (she was the only one who seemed to be depressed) anyway.
But I was scared all the time while watching the clones being zapped.
But it was really great episode.

Yea they made sure the real one stood out, had to re-watch to realize the paint drying was a 'dedication to friends' test which was logical since that's what the clones were lacking.
Of course it doesn't leave out the fact the possibility of an alternate ending potentially happening, despite knowing it would never do so, so I was quite on the edge at the scene.

There is one where Twilight sent the real Pinkie into the mirror pool, leaving just one fake behind that everyone has to get used to.

Huh... Intended or not, this definitely changes something about the episode. And there will probably be fanfics about that soon.
It's well done and I like the style. The effects you're testing look very promising. Curious what the tests will lead to eventually.
