A sample to my current drawing style and the variations to it.
These are pretty much the four genres I'll be working towards (and also some examples of different versions to how I draw things (excluding medium emulation), most noticeably the eye-style), still needs a lot of tweaking and modifications 'though.
(From left-to-right)
Simple (Lighthearted-type Artworks) - Needs eye-adjustment and a bit of adaption from the 'Soft' style
Serious (Action/Adventure-type Artworks) - Needs to double-check anatomy
Sweet (Beauty-type Artworks) - Needs to check eye-size/placement and fur placement, better mane/tail shading too
Soft (Clop(?)-type Artworks) - Uhm, -writes down- "make some kind of improvement here"
Gonna use this drawing for personal reference.
Oh and as I mentioned someplace else, anything I draw (at least recently) are how they exist in my fanon interpretation of Equestria (example - Vinyl's heterochromia eyes) unless it's gore/clop (example - the far-right one up there) in which it's separate.
I like to keep Derpy's eyes un-derped 99% of the time instead of the other way around also, it makes the derp moments more special imo, that and I kinda can't draw the derped eyes all that well a lot of the times.
And one last thing, I have a story planned out for each of the first two on the left.

I love the multicolored scratch eyes, don't think I've seen that done before.
Good job, though I wouldn't have guessed that the far right one is soft clop. That may be because of the blood red, apocalyptic looking background.

Yea, me neither, - Somehow I combined grimdark/clop into one category (still a lot of reasons why I can't try and draw clop yet 'though), might work out, idk.

1 - Laptop stationed in younger sis' room at the moment.
2 - I haven't made a tumblr or something to put them on yet anyways.
3 - I prefer to draw [extremely] good, before I get anywhere near there.

This is impressive. All four different styles look unique when shown right next to each other, and the difference between background adds to that as well. I agree with what you said about Derpy. Over-using the Derp eyes can make its effect not as strong as to when you use them for the right moments, and it does help add to the serious style when they are underped. I feel the sweet syle might not need that much shading (or any), since the bright colors help add to the sweetness or help show the beauty part of it. Maybe you could make the background a bit brighter, so the lighting doesn't need to much of a change. Very nice work and well done!

Yea there's still a bit of things I gotta modify, the 'sweet/beauty' style is the newest out of the four so I didn't have much chance to know how to make it work better, I'll try the brighter mood out more next time then.

Doesn't look that bad buddy-Budd. Is it just me or has shooting star had a bit of an evil grin going on the past few drawings. I like your vinyl's but I always perfered maginta eyes. Why does twi have RD's cutie mark as an ear ring. This one looks kinda like the persona all-out attacks

Oh she has a normal side, but I like to outlet other personalities into her occasionally.
Was too conflicted between red and magenta 'cause people can make both eye colors work, so I decided to try something different (which doesn't always guarantee success of course) and hope I can make it look better later.
Those earbands are how I signify who I'm pairing with who.
Heh, I haven't played Persona, would like to one day!

Ugh your shipping now-_-. Never did like that although it does fit and add to the drawing-_- I didn't say the eyes didn't work out, I just like magenta personally^_^ persona is good and fun game you should play it. I personally suggest the third one. Persona 1 is wierd. Persona 2 is easy and a old-school dungeon crawler. Persona 3 and 4 are half dating sim half rpgXD. Persona 3 you explore one 90 floor dungeon. Persona 4 is the happiest, cheesist, and teddyist(google to understand that jokeXD) anyway 3 is the best^_^
