This was my entry to the shitty sonic and the black knight contest.No, I didnt win. I dont understand, I saw a handful of shitty entries in all the country categories..many of which shouldnt BE in there due to the nature of the contest. Its as if they chose shit at random.
There are a few that are very well drawn dont get me wrong, but for the most part? Utter crap.
No, Im not being a 'sore loser' or whatever.
The game sucks, no I havent played it, and no, I wont play it. But when Sonic starts waving swords around, thats when the series needs to die..
I shouldve sent [link] That off as an entry instead.

WiiWare sonic game would be epic..something like Megaman 9..you know? Retro shit.
But thats just wishful thinking of a long time Sonic fan.

Well, you never played the game, dont know what the gameplay is like, and yet you say its sucks just beacuse Sonic is holding a sword, seems pretty shallow to me.

I havent heard anything good about the recent sonic games. I played Unleashed, didnt like. Didnt play Knights , cuz I just dont have it, nor know anyone that does. SO yes, I do not like. And will not like. (3 I grew up on the Sonic 2D games, with Sonic 3/Knuckles being my fave, and shall always be my fave.

Sonic and the Black Knight was only part of a separate line called the "Sonic Storybook series" (preceding Sonic and the Secret Rings), which has NOTHING to do with the real series. So donβt compare that βShitβ, as you call it, to what SEGA is REALLY up to. It was just a stupid side concept to distract your attention from the real project and will NEVER BE USED AGAIN. It's just hard to compete with the other gaming companies now a days and it's even harder to build a whole series "from the ground up" (as they will be doing in Project Needlemouse).
Donβt think I donβt understand you, though. I gave up on Sonic when the Shadow the Hedgehog game came out. I stayed away βtil a friend convinced me to buy Super Smash Brothers Brawl. And for the first time I realized that if Super Mario (one of the greatest videogame characters EVER) would accept Sonic into his team then Sonic wasnβt as bad as I thought. Now I'm a Sonic fan once again and am eagerly awaiting his next adventure.
Please don't give up on the little blue hog yet, you make such wonderful art of him.

I'm sorta new to the whole Sonic stuff (I've only played Dark Brotherhood. o.o), but honestly the whole idea for Black Knight just doesn't work with the series.
It's technology and woodland creatures. Nowhere do knights fit in with that. EVER.

I am saddened that this pic didn't win... It's brought back a lot of memories, as the Genesis was the first vg system I ever owned, along with all the Sonic games for it XD
This was the second hardest boss fight for me back then, only beaten by Metal Sonic in S3&K XD
