Good god, this is so beautiful! The colors and shading chosen to indicate the feather texture is amazing, blending just as feathers should while preserving the detail to show that they are still feathery. I hope to eventually be able to create illustrations this lovely!

I love the attention to detail on the feathers. The wings actually make sense and the feathers aren't just randomly placed! And the positioning of the bird allows a more wide and revealing view of it. Oh and the shading? Very well done. Pretty consistent, though if you really want this to pop out and seem realistic, using some darker colors for the shading would work nicely. Otherwise, nicely done!
