Painting abstract looking things is so far out of my comfort zone.I started out with this a copy of photo of mine ( ) but most of it was lost in the paint.
Edit: Updated. Not sure I like it any more, but it was a fun experiment.
Also, the natural outdoor light is so much less yellow the whole thing looks different in this photo than it did in the first photo.

Being an abstract thing yourself you would think painting them would be more your cup of tea.

Something about paint that's really laid on thick so that it has lumpiness is cool.
