"I've got to set sail and start my own adventure! Soon, you'll hear my reputation." With that confident smile, Ace waved goodbye to Luffy.
It was weird that Acasa didn't show up at the dock though they had a farewell party together last night.

At the other dock of the island
A brown-haired girl was running along the coast.
"Ace!!----" a familiar voice was heard.
The boy looked towards the source of voice.
"...Acasa ... I thought you would--- "
The girl slowed down her paces and took a deep breath.

"Ace, I've made up my mind! We will meet again one day on the sea, and by that time I would have become an outstanding explorer!"

"Ha Ha!" A big sunny smile, "Deal!"

"Another thing..." A warm blush rose to the girl's cheeks. Letting her gaze wander, she began, "...I"

The boy was confused but when he saw the girl's reddish cheeks, he too blushed.

"I love you." She confessed and looked into his eyes.

His boat was drifting away. Ace didn't reply to her.
His orange hat shadowed his face. But anybody could see that grin.
She waited but nothing was said.
Acasa felt unfair.
Before she could shout "Ace, you bastard", the boy was too far to hear that.

She hoped that grin meant "yes, me too", but she was not sure since both of them were hard to understand especially when it came to feelings.

"Yo, Acasa, where have you been? Ace left moments ago." Luffy asked.
"I know, " She felt upset now. "Why couldn’t that idiot speak frankly?!"
"What happened?" Luffy had no idea of what she was complaining about.
Makino smiled secretly and waved to her.
Acasa went to her side.
"Acasa, it's all right as long as he loves you deep in heart."
"God knows whether it is true!" She was a bit too loud and realized what had just happened. She wanted to dig a hole and bury herself.
With a gentle smile, Makino tapped on her shoulder and returned back to the bar.
"What is it on earth? You looked like a tomato now, Ask!" Luffy laughed his head off.
Another hit left a tomato on the boy's head.

Later that day
Acasa was not in good spirit after Ace's leaving, which worried Luffy a lot (Partly for not cooking for him).

"Tell me right now, you promised, we're friends!" Luffy held his arms and asked in a big brother's tone though he was two years younger than her.

"Okay, sit down, Luffy." Acasa gave a sigh and encouraged herself. "It's nothing important actually and I think even if I told you, nothing would change."

"Tell me anyway, I believe I am stronger now." Look, that adorable face.

"You won't understand! I don't understand myself as well, it's about ... love ..."

"Love ?"He frowned, "Why does it have anything to do with you?"

"I-" Acasa swallowed back her words, thinking it unsuitable to tell the very person's little brother.

"Ace loves you."

What!? What did this idiot just said?

Luffy seemed quite clam.

"You said who loves who?" Too shocked to arrange the words.

"You heard me, Ace loves you...Tru--"He was hit in the face, "WTF! You beat me twice without reasons today!"

"It's true." She also felt the pain from her fist. "But how did you know?"

"He told me when I asked why he kissed you secretly while you were sleeping after the farewell party last night." Luffy sat on the floor and explained, "He said it was because he loves you even if he was also not sure about what love is."

"Luffy?"

"What?"

He was hugged to death by the overjoyed girl. "I love you!"

"Huh? Let go of me, I can't breathe!"
