It might have been boring to visit the doctor's place but there were interesting rooms and the most interesting place was the crew's dorm. As Acasa expected, they were all glad to tell about the adventures they had. However considering Captain's presence, they cut some part of the stories. The Captain was listening with his eyes closed, lying against Bepo, but he never made a comment.

The only place she was not allowed to see was the stock room. He said it was unbearable for an average person.

"You are getting bored, right? After finishing all the books there." He actually noticed.
"Yeah, I can't wait to see the island." She admitted honestly.
"I have a few books in my room, go and pick some if you like."
"...Thank you... But I am not interested in medication books."
"... There are other books..." He frowned like a child who failed to surprise somebody with his new discovery.
She giggled. "Well, thanks."
It had been a while for not seeing her smile. She herself was surprised.
Law still wore that grin but this time was out of pure satisfaction.

The captain's room was well-arranged. It was a simple one as well.
She scanned the titles of books on the shelf and stopped at one book called "Fevers".
"What is this book about?" She turned around to ask Law, finger still pointing at it.
"Um..." A look of embarrassment flashed across his face. "Nothing special, just about medicine, you won't be interested."
Obviously he lied to her.
"Maybe I can learn something from the book, the title was interesting after all." She tiptoed a bit to grab the book.
"..." Law held the book back with his left hand swiftly from behind, and touched her hand accidentally.
Acasa blushed and took back her hand. Holding her hands nervously, she heard her heart beating faster again.
"Sorry," Law thought it was his abrupt action to stop her that caused her silence. "It's just not for your appetite."
He dared not look at her because a pink flush spread over his cheeks.
"It's okay. Then I'll pick another one." She was thinking about another thing.
Now both of them seemed to catch a fever.
Finally she took an illustrated book of botany.
