I wanted to experiment with skin tones a few months ago using coloured pencils, because I've never actually drawn a person in colour before. I've painted people a few times, but never drawn them with coloured pencils, pastels, conte, what have you. So. Hence, Khisa! One of my roleplaying characters. Well, it was originally her. It didn't end up looking much like how I envision her. But I kind of liked how it turned out, anyway...if only because it was fun! ^_^But I continue to suck at drawing people. x_x
Woman drawn in coloured pencil, black background done in soft pastel, on 9x7.5 toned pastel paper. Clocked at upwards of 12 hours. A live model was used for the preliminary sketch.

This is really awesome, I really like the flow of the lines in her body, and in her hair. Great drawing, great colors, great shadows! The only teeny thing with your figure drawing is that back, but it isn't too huge, just kinda looks weird on the farther shoulder. Its a beautiful work, you work really well with colored pencils.
