Description
Okay. Before you bite me, I'm aware that the scientific name for a liger is pending, and will probably end up being panthera lio/tigris. But that sounds awkward and boring, an in my perspective, a wild liger would definitely be a rex of the felidae family. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, more like; talk about a damaged ecosystem), that will never happen, and the few examples of living ligers are disgustingly obese and unnatural critters.This is what I picture a male liger (or tigon, picky people) that occured naturally in the wild would look like...though yes, I'm aware that would never happen. >_>;
Done on Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Clocked at around 4-5 hours.

And not all of the ligers are obese. There are some relatively fit ligers around, like Hercules the Liger.

I think that if you can make a liger fertile as any other big cat, it would take the role of the American lion (it is the same size as one).
Excellent partner
