...God, it's like a giant blob o' Sokka. And I was gonna do some sketches with his hair down...but I got tired, and I like draiwng him with his hair up. >_>BACK TO COMMISSIONS.

hmm, these are wonderful depictions of emotions but for some reason after the 6th one, they stop looking like Sokka to me. =/

Probably because for the fix six I was watching season 1, and from then on I was watching season 3 (hence the change in hair style, as well). It surprised me how much the style changed throughout the series, but since the project I'm involved in is supposed to depict the style closest to the end of the series, I hd to practice that most. :\ They were certainly a lot more loose and playful with expressions earlier on in the series, which is too bad.

I actually think he's pretty easy by comparison with other characters. >_> I mean, his face shape is just a tapered rectangle, and since his expressions are so crazy you can pretty much plop his mouth anywhere you feel like it. XD And I love his hair when it's tied back in his wolf tail; it's so simple that it's like he doesn't have any hair at all. >__>;
