Using her own DNA the she'd secretly been using this new biotechnology to create a clone of herself, she'd stolen a cryo tube, and had it placed in a hidden chamber built into her laboratory, working late hadn't raised any alarms as the company she worked for was interested in money most of all, but in reality she'd been using those late nights to optimize the process of designing the perfect clone unannounced to anyone else, and when she finally got it right, she would no longer have any need to work so many hours of the day, as the clone could take on some of that responsibility, once she had properly taught the clone how to do her job, but that's not all it would accomplish, the grim reality of death would be a thing of the past, she could transfer her consciousness into one of the clones, and live eternally.
