Sometimes art doesn't have a message, or a story to tell. Sometimes art is just a creative idea with no rhyme or reason. and it's hard to put that kind of work out into the world, because our minds have been tweaked and tuned by modern society to believe that creating without purpose is useless.

If you're work doesn't have a purpose is can't possibly contribute to society, that is what we call greed. to expect something despite the intention. these days creating simply because it's fun is a concept that will get you shamed.

but maybe i just want to make a pretty picture because i like the way it looks, or maybe i want to just throw a random concept out there because i think it's cool to look at. do i really need to have some big elaborate statement, some intricate emotional drama attached to that idea.

can a piece of art not exist for the simple fact of existing. why do you need my work to speak to you, can you not speak for yourself? why do you so long for a piece of art to tell you how to feel? what purpose does it give you to walk around attempting to give everything but your own life and works meaning?
