For example photos (and info) from when I made the Baphomet mask, sculpted and molded the horns.
They are not in-depth tutorials, but lots of progress shots and some text that hopefully will give you some tips and inspiration if you are into crafting and creating!

Nice shot ! ...how do you refine the sculpture after you finish sculpting it in clay ?

Thanks! It's explained more in detail in the Patreon posts But I generally use the tools as much as possible, just poke it around for eternity xD and I use alcohol like isopropanol with a brush to smooth out the tiny stuff in the end.

Interesting ,Yeah I saw some tutorials on youtube with alcohol isopropanol .......curious about this, does regular alcohol work ? ...such as cheap vodka ? or pure alcohol that is inserted in the alcohol home made drinks ? Not sure where I could get isopropanol alcohol

Does spray painting the clay model after I finish work ? ....giving it a smooth effect on silicone molds ? ...Cause Im really into this and want to start on creating baroque stuff ^^ ......
Ussualy I am not pleased of my work, so I end up abandoning, but with molding, it seems it is the only thing that keeps me going, idk why.

Thank you for your time,  you got lovely pieces of art !

I think it has to be alcohol between 50 and 90% or something like that. I am not completely sure, I have only used isopropanol so far, which is about 90% alcohol if I remember correctly.
But a google search will give you loots of info about smoothing sculpey and other polymer clays! There are different ways to do it and people prefer different things, so you would have to try it out and experiment.
Not sure about the spraying, I would just work on the clay until it is the right texture. Sometimes I bake the clay, if it is for example sculpey clay, and then sand it with fine grit sandpaper before I mold it.
Thank you!

Heeeeheheh ! Nice thank you very much for the info ^^ .... Well I guess if its a lot of alcohool ~90% the the purpose is to quickly evaporate. In eastern part of europe people are poor, makin a mold out of sculpey clay is quite expensive Im trying to walk on the path of the classics, with plaster, regular clay (from the ground) and a little dose of present day technology.....silicone rubber
Thank you once more for your time, and great information !   You are awesome !

No problem If you are sculpting with regular ceramics clay/water clay or what it is called, then you don't need alcohol to smooth it, then you can just use water

Well yes, but I saw in a video a guy said that its better to use alcoohol to not make the clay to soggy .... Im a noob in this domain ..... do I need proper school years to be good in this domain ? ...how did you start ?

Okay, I dont know it all so you just gotto try it out Ive gone to different art schools but trial and error and experimenting is a big part of it! Just get in there and learn from your mistakes. Because everyone makes mistakes, and everyone gotto make ugly stuff before one makes good stuff

Thank you for your reply   ...when you say "different art schools" ....are you referring YEARS of study or a few months\school. Yes indeed failing is sometime more usefully for experience than succeeding out of pure luck  . Now Im trying to create paint on molds .... learned a lot from my first mold, and it is aprox60% usable
Hope I will succeed, I want to create a business out of molds, to make epic statues in real life, more of an architectural fetishist, a few centuries of the roman empire on our back left us with scars on our DNA....epic statues is a must, it is a pitty that we poor, so I want to create expensive quality molds, and make statues affordable for everybody ^^.
You are awesome Swedish master artisan for taking the time to talk with a noob like me !

I'm with Cadaver on this. (Not to put words in their mouth). But you do more yourself, than I thought, too.
Like... I thought you bought stuff and put it together. But you's a straight up sculptor!

That is very interesting to hear, because to me I haven't even thought about that it might not be obvious, because it's obvious to me xD But yes I usually make everything from scratch! Thank you

Yes it took a looong time! I couldn't find a real pair of horns that I could mold, that had the right shape, so I though "meehh I'll make them myself" xD Thank you!
