Just a little photo of me from when I was working on that boar.
And also the finished boar sculpt before I made a mold of it.
Was great to work on the balcony this summer, being able to smell the weather,
hear the rain pounding on the plastic roof or the bumblebees humming around.
Totally loving the autumn weather now though, it's so pretty I don't know how to handle myself!
There is now also a timelapse video of the making of this mask!

What do you use to make your molds? I love the casting process

Hey! Love you work. I've been making a few of my own masks recently and I was wondering what that face mold you build your masks on is? Did you make it urself out of plaster or something, or can I buy something like it somewhere?

Heey, thanks! I'm not sure if you can buy it somewhere, I made this myself. I made a mold of my boyfriends face and cast it with plaster/jesmonite The mold can be made with just plaster bandages, or with alginate + plaster bandages if you want it super detailed but for just building a mask upon you can just use plaster bandages. I'm actually planning to make a tutorial for this but that won't be finished for a whiile. I recommend you google for "face mold plaster bandages"

Fantastic sculpture!
I am more of a summer person but one of the reasons to look forward to autumn here in germany is Federweißer and Zweibelkuchen (onioncake). Federweißer is a special type of fermented white wine that is only available in september and october. It has to be drunk within a few days of buying it as i cannot be stored.

Thank you so muuch! Ooh sounds interesting.. although neither onions or wine is my thing haha. As we say in Sweden: the taste is like the butt... split.
Not sure if that makes any sense at all in english haha. xD

" the taste is like the butt... split."
Unfortunately it does make sense in english. What a terrible saying
