This was a commission for the luverly LimitlessEndeavours . It was made as a gift for her husband and it has white blank pages to be filled with photographs and various memories they might want to save

It has hand bound pages in A3 size, with a cover in leather and a clasp-kind-of-thing with also a leather strap and a buckle. The design on the front is not made by me, but I have burnt it into the leather. And of course it has all been patinated to look like this thing has existed for quite a while  (because they feel like they have known eachother since forever you know, or maybe because they are really old vampires... Hmmm.)

Thanks for stopping by!

WIP pics of the book can be found at my blog:

Might I ask, how do you bind your pages? I wonder because I've made a few (crudely put together) books and used an awl to make holes in a stack of pages. I've always been interested in book making, and if I were to ever try my hand at it, I'm curious to know whether I'd be able to bind the pages right.

It looks very professional, and I'd buy from you if I had the money.

I don't mind, but I don't really have the time to go through the whole process :/ I have been thinking about putting together a tutorial some day though, when I have the time...
On a regular book (this one wasn't very regular) I fold all the pages and then put them in stacks of 3 pages in each, I then put them all on top of each other as if they were already bound together (gah, I'm not that good with explaining) and I use a template I have to draw lines on the back of the pages where the holes will go, like this: nymla.se/wp-content/uploads/20…
After that I put the stacks of papers on a piece of styrofoam and use an awl to punch holes in all stacks, one stack (or two if it doesn't mess it up) at a time. And then I bind them together.

I'm sure you would be successfull at binding books, the binding is not that hard And I believe there is lots of tutorials and books on the subject.
Hope this helped a bit!

Wow, this is fantastic.  I want.  XD  If I am able, would you mind if I attempted to make a 3D version of this for my personal use with credits for the actual product given?

Very nice!^^
What do you use for burning the pattern into the leather?
A standard soldering iron?

Thank you! I used some kind of soldering iron/wood burning thing, with exchangable tips. I guess there's lots of pyrography tools to find, or what to call them
