Coming from an actual Tlingit, I say this is pretty good!

But, I must advise on the use of ovoids.

A type of shape often used. There's ovoids, U-shapes, S-shapes, those are the main shapes in Tlingit art.

I've been obsessed with all things Tlingit since I started writing a fantasy series where my main characters are based off them. This is damn fine work, keep it up!

What is 'airex'? I am very interested in making some armor that appears to be wood and this sounds promising

I have no idea where to find it in the states. All I know is that its hard to find here in Sweden and it is very expensive and you have to buy looooots of it at a time, can't buy small bits. I got some from my school. So, might not be the easiest material to find.
But it's great for some things, it's sort of like a hard foam board (5-10mm thick or something like that) that you can heat up to bend and shape and when it cools down it goes hard again.
