X3 My team application for

XD Since I saw doing it and...it was too tempting. Basically, you get a team of pokemon together and draw awesome comics of them being stupid, awesome, whatever you want then you can collab with other teams, gain points, etc. etc.

Hopefully this will allow me to work more on my shading styles and drawing more than just canines/furried animals. XD I had a much harder time shading in poor Jasmine than I did Ace.

Anyway! On to the characters...

Ace - A male zangoose that's older then most of the other newbie teams, but is by no means a grandpa! He started off life in the Tao Village, but the rest of his life after that point is largely unknown. He became a lone traveler. Until he met Jasmine in the Whispering Peaks frozen solid within an icy slab. More like accidentally unleashed. One dig later and she awoke, smashing the ice that had entombed her. After initial frights and mix-ups then eventual make-ups too detailed to divulge into at the moment, the two paired together. Ace unable to bring himself to leave her on the frozen peaks alone.

Ace himself lost his eye in an unrelated incident after and when he and Jasmine did return to Tao Village it became apparent income would be needed and they enlisted in the merchant's guild. Ace now uses his starter ribbon to cover his missing eye while they save up funds for a proper eye patch.

He is cunning and a go-getter who is not likely to take no for an answer. Although he is more likely to overall do the right thing, he can't often help but have a little fun while doing so. As a fighter he is serious and experienced. However, what he has in fighting skills he lacks in merchant skills at the moment.

Jasmine - Through unknown circumstances was frozen within a block of ice in the whispering peaks from more ancient times. Overall she is sweet, smart and more so on the quiet, yet has a primal side she cannot always keep in check. Impulses can cause her to leave destruction in her wake if provoked. Jasmine is the brute force behind the duo and with skin as tough as boulders, she is easily capable of taking hits. And is willing to do so for her sole friend in the time period.

Not much is known about her time before being frozen, and if asked Jasmine will reply by complaining of a fuzzy memory. Only reminder of the past she has is a nip that is missing from her tail spade.

XD I don't know...originally I thought I would have to explain how a prehistoric pkmn was being used, but I saw others without needing a back story as such...but I couldn't bring myself to just ditch my whole idea. I kinda liked the idea of her having an unpredictable side. Adds spice to her character. I might add more as I think through their bgs more.

*Edit: New team member added! Roxy from the side mission for merchants during mission 4. Originally she was part of slasher's gang, but once it disbanded she was recruited to work in the merchant's guild. Not much else is known as of yet about her.
