Twilight decides to do a teleportation experiment using dash as a test subject but accidentally clones her instead XDThis took me really long to do, full backgrounds are a pain to do >.< Hope you guys like it

I really like your drawings! Considering I'm a big fan of the Twilight/Rainbow pairing, so I always look forward to your newest piece.
The background looks excellent. What I really like is how the sun shines through. It looks very realistic to how it's shown in real life. The shadows look great too!
I also like how Twilight's magic aura looks. Like a violet flame.
The only thing I'm a little picky about is how Twilight's chest looks. It seems to sink a little and the front has a point to it rather than curving. Then again part of it is covered up which could with it.
I still really like the piece overall. Can't wait to see more and, you should continue with the backgrounds!

First, I must say that I love this concept, and more so this artwork. It's done over in a brilliant style, and with such attention to detail. The shadows are accurate, the lighting is very nicely done, and movement is simulated in just the right way to make the whole thing look that much more realistic.
One thing I love about it is the magical strokes coming off of clone Rainbow's body. They're depicted with such detail that I can almost hear a sort of sizzle as they steam away into thin air. I dunno, that's just one of my favorite parts.
One big thing I would improve on [and probably the only big thing]: Twilight's body seems a bit plump near the middle and front. I'm not sure if that's just something you did yourself to give the feeling of better proportion or if it's just a simple mistake, but in any case, it makes her look a bit too.. Well, a bit too fat. Her hind side is done over beautifully, but the front side's shape could be improved on a little bit.
Other than that, there are only hardly-noticeable lapses in quality that aren't even worth mentioning in a critique.

Hmmm, I think I smell a game of hopscotch coming around the corner.
But in all seriousness, this is yet another fine, fine work from you. The shading and proportions look fantastic and realistic.
The magical effects look rather stunning and gives you a feel that other Dash is only a production of the arcane arts... okay, I feel that was getting too poetic for my own good.
Only real nitpick I really have is the lack of detail in the background; but, since this is more focused on the characters, I don't think you should take that complaint seriously.

As the other person said, for Pegasi, they pluck a feather out and give it to their loved one. Cultural tradition. And im just betting in this pic rainbow wanted this to happen.

It signifies that, that is Dash's unicorn. There are many like it but that one is hers. But in all seriousness maybe it is a cultural pegasus thing and maybe it isn't, I'm not really sure. What I do know is that it is a constant reminder for Twilight of the one she loves and who in turn loves her.
