When I called my mom over to look at this, she yelled "What on earth is that horrifying creature!?" And she was serious. So I explained who he was (Jackle from NiGHTS into Dreams) and showed her what the character looks like when drawn by more experienced hands (Aka and . Thanks!) I was trying to go for a more 'cute and cuddly' look, but now I doubt I nailed it.

Anyways, the theme here is loosely of based on a dream I had a while back: Poor little Jackle was looked down on by all the other marens, all because he couldn't fly as well as they could. So, on the night of a metor shower, he decided that he would show them and fly high into the night sky and bring back a shooting star, which he suceeds in doing. The moral is pretty obvious, right?
