You know, I wish more people were that chill about things. When I hear a certain type of voice, for example a masculine one, I'm more than likely going to refer to that person as "he" at first, even if they prefer a female pronoun. It's not like it's an INSULT, it's the result of an entire lifetime's worth of associative learning.

That associative learning is a part of the reason I'm still okay about being called a she (and those times when I'm feeling super pretty). First thing people are going to think when they see me is "girl" most likely, so that's easy for me to expect. The only time I get all upset over pronouns is when someone is intentionally being a douchebag. It's kinda like some of those race videos Buzzfeed does, you can't walk into a room and expect everyone to know that you're half-Mexican 12/365ths Japanese or something. Besides, even if I know someone's pronouns, there's still the possibility of accidentally misgendering them. Mistakes happen.
