Description
While I found the picture before this to be a bit insane, I find my doing this to be a bit sick. Yep, I'm a sick, sick son of a-As mentioned in BatB: Gender Swap, I drew the female version of Beast, I had to draw her in human form first to get the structure right. Well, she looked plenty... uh... Well, she looked funky like her male form.
Well, here I decided to take another whack at it. I think he as a she turned out "kind of pretty" this time.
Yeah... no smiling here. During the progress I kept thinking of make believe reasons for it. The princess of melancholy came to mind, for in this AU of the Disney production, the story would follow the fairy tale more. Therefore, after the spell, she becomes rather sad and wistful. Another idea was the Prince finds himself suddenly as a girl and is now miserable. Heh.
I'd give her a name, but I am against the "Prince Adam" thing. It is not official. Some argue about that Encyclopedia thing, but that is rumor as far as I know. A few "true Disney BatB fans" I've met have bought that book just to find that tidbit and have agreed never running across it. The Disney site actually says a no go on a name:

He never had a name other than Beast or simply the address of Master. Therefore, no "new" name for this AU based on the name Adam.
Vincent is also a no. People are just getting that mixed up with the live TV series or they are simply making all versions of the Beast have that name for some odd sake or another.
Maybe she will be princess Betty. Heh. Where the f*ck did that come from? Femelle-bête. Bête. Betty.
Edit 1:
Hm... the "Adam" part finally has been found. A game called "The D Show" asks what the Beast's real name is... their answer is "Prince Adam".
Despite this, nothing else gives hints. There are no books, it isn't mentioned in the movie or any other merchandise. The Disney Website still doesn't even admit to it...
Edit 2:
Holy cow, there is finally a more "official" sighting:
[link]
I still don't know how truly official it is since it has been said that when creating the characters the animators and so forth never thought of a name for him, thus whether he ever really had a name at the beginning is still questionable. It might be a bit of a more recent "fact" added in due to controversy and too many nameless Disney Princes in the beginning films.
Well, then... I'll always prefer his name being a mystery and will stick by the movie and the Disney website's answer, but I'll accept Adam as another option!

I'm referring to the Walt Disney's take on "Beauty and the Beast" and that in turn pertains to the original tale "La Belle et la Bête" by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont. Neither give the Beast a name once he becomes a prince again.
I'm not sure if I've read "The Lady and The Lion" in regards to original fairy tales, but from what I've looked up, that is more based on "The Singing, Springing Lark" from the Grimm's Brothers - a story with Beauty and the Beast themes. That never gives the Lion, turned dove, turned lion, turned Prince a name either.

Color in shades with the simulated pain brush, then use the smudge tool and then the Gaussian blur filter a couple of times.
The process however is more complicated... >.O

'Never tried before. Also, I use an old program from 1998 or 1999... I have no idea how features work on newer art programs...

Good picture! It also works as a daughter of Belle & the Prince, who obviously looks more like her father than her mother. Great inspiration either way.
