Description These are a collection of images I did that is based off women with pudge or tummies, in almost all shape and size. I know a lot of friends who have a small tummy or are big boned and they feel very self-conscious about their body. I work in a bookstore where almost to all of the magazine covers or book covers revolve around very skinny, even sometimes big-breasted models. This would question anyone’s self appearance and body if they compare their bodies to the glamour models. They would feel ashamed or depressed that they have more body fat than the other and there is nothing they can really do about it.

Everyone has their own different definition about body fat: Pudge, huskie, curvey, wide, big-boned, rounded, obese, heavy…These are only one word terms that describe one’s body, and their definition can change due to one’s perspective.

When I hear of the words “ pudgey” or “huskie”, I think of someone who has a small rounded belly. I think of someone who has a cute tummy. Pudgey and huskie are ( or could be ) terms to describe one’s belly fat in a cute manner; a cushioned definition of one’s fat.

The word curvey could be taken not just for the roundness of one’s belly, but also for the breast and butt size. Many who do have pudge or large bellies tend to sometimes have a large chest and/or large butt. The breasts and the butt somewhat “counter balances” with the stomach. It’s perfectly normal. Some don’t have large breasts at all, but more of a normal B cup size or smaller. That is also normal. I knew a girl who had a tummy and large butt but small chest, and she was just as cute as ever.

When describing someone who is self-conscious about their body and you call them fat or obese or heavy, those words are somewhat pins and needle description about one’s appearance. When you describe a physical trait about someone, you should always go for a cushioned term. It shows that you do have respect for other people’s feelings and physical descriptions. You are aware that they could be very sensitive about their body and that you know it is best not to describe someone in a harsh way.

Your body is an outer shell of who you really are. Your body is like a turtle’s shell. When a turtle crawls into a shell, you don’t know what kind of turtle you are looking at. It could be aggressive, or shy, or kind. You could look like someone who looked like they crawled out of the sewer, but they really have a heart of gold. You are born with the body you have and it will change due to your genetic history. You could be born very thin, but then get rounder with age do to some genetic defect from your family’s past or medication you took for another medical problem. That still does not change the fact of who you are. Heck, you could loose all your hair, but you will still remain the same person.

A lot of people hate their bodies. They wish they could be like the next person who is toned or more sexually alluring. Instead they are stuck with this defect that they cant get rid of, no matter how hard they try. Having a skinny figure with a large chest or size pack with huge muscular arms does not really mean anything except physical attraction. We are so used to seeing those figures on TV or in magazines that we automatically think “Hey, that is very sexy!” When we see someone who doesn’t have that figure, we think “Not attractive enough.” That can also go when we look each other in the mirror. We judge our own body to the next and if they have something beautiful that we don’t, we get depressed and try to hide it, pretending that we don’t have it or try to make it look like we do.

Personality is the key to anyone who wants to be attractive. The physical image cant go far, but the personality can go a long way. One could look like a goddess but be a real tight-wad personality wise. Our bodies are “eye-candy” to another. Don’t rely heavily on your physical body, but more of your mental and personal self.

I might think of selling these images as prints with a loving description on the bottom. It would make a good gift for someone who has the same body type as one of these images and also who are depressed because of their body. These were all done with pen and prismamarker. I really had fun doing these images because they were a happy ones and colorful ones as well. I will be bringing my sketchbook to FurFright so you can take a better look at these.

These images are NOT for pornographic material, hence no nipples

Lovely picture, and wonderful message; looks truly aren't everything; it depends on the person too.

Me, I'm a 19 year old guy who's turning 20 tomorrow (so I'm technically that age), I don't have really muscular arms like a male bodybuilder, and I've got a bit of a pudgy belly I'd say, but I'm satisfied with what I've got.

I like girls that are pudgier a bit better, but I'm not all biased towards them. Then again, I'm kinda a bit shy as I do want to fall in love, but I really do feel kinda nervous...

Ya I love girls that are a bit pudgy they appear cuter to me in fact I prefer pudgy girls cuz they are cuddly and soft like a teddy bear I have a girl back at home who's my cuddle buddy we just cuddle and she's pudgy in a cute and cuddly way I even have strong feelings for her but she thinks it would complicate things if we ever fell out with each other but Its ok we just cuddle instead and that makes me happy.

This really spoke to me.I don't like those strong, gorilla shaped bodies guys have.I perfer guys who are a little bit puny or have a little bit of a pudge and/or are a bit babyfaced.I think its adorable, most 15 year old girls would not agree with me.Well I am not a normal 15 year old girl!

You know, this seems to be bias mostly towards women. Tell me something, would you ever consider applying this policy towards men? Of course not.

I agree with you 110%. I'm pudgy myself and I'm happy with it. Others need to be happy with their body type as well. It's good to see someone putting that message out there.

I've been sending the same message out myself. It's good to see someone else doing the same.

Kudos.

Power to the pudge!

I'm pudgy myself, and I've gotten used to it. Now I have a boyfriend, I have found that I don't care about my weight because it is my personality that is the thing that attracts people the most. Sure, it would be nice to loose a little off my thighs but that aside, I'm happy with what I look like.

More butt to grab anywho

All in all, I love this piece, it is beautfilly drawn and written. It really shows some key points to those who care too much about their figure to love it.

xx

i actually do have to say that i actually prefer girls with a belly than those with the "perfect" (<-- notice the quotation marks) body. i honestly dont know why i prefer them but i just do. actually i go both ways but if there are 2 girls that like me and one of them had a belly i would actually choose them over the "perfect" one

Very nice. While I'm not exactly wild about some aspects of my body & often feel unbalanced, so to speak, I've come to accept it for what it is. This makes me feel a lot better about myself. Thanks for posting this up. <3

You're so right. I often hear, for example before/after sports in school, the other girls complaining about excessive fat, and sometimes even thin girls saying they need to lose weight!

What some maybe do not know, is that girls that are naturally slender/thin, like me, rarely are happier than those who aren't. Some still think they're fat, others complain about their chest size. Or they maybe have entirely different problems!

I sometimes think to myself that it would be nice with more curves there, or I'd love to have the body of that girl over there. But then I realize that if I really did have her body or those curves I'd be treated totally differently. I'd be treated as a sex object, not as a human with a brain and a unique personality. So in the end, I always end up satisfied. And if not, I pose in front of my mirror in various poses that show the best until I'm happy. It always helps.

So girls, accept your bodies! You're unique, and be proud!!
