This was something I did today during art block...Voices of inspiration and doubts...
Should I draw for myself or draw something that would catch the eye?
Been in this kind of situation for awhile... -_-;
Maybe my meaning in this is a bit weak or far off.

If you're finished with commissions I think you should draw something for yourself. There's no pressure nor a need to rush if you're drawing for yourself.

Now if this were me I'd have like twenty of those little guys arguing and running around on the table trying to get attention.

I say go with any of those furry little guys! Your artwork always turns out great regardless of the genre it fits into (of course that's just my opinion. others may disagree).
As for the 'who to draw for dilemma', well, just choose whichever option you're most comfortable with.

My advice is that you draw for yourself when you can and if you want attention, draw things that others will like sometimes. I like all your art myself, sexy, thought provoking, scary regardless of the medium. I gave up critiquing people on what they draw based on their convictions as to whether or not they want to draw it or if they may not like a certain medium or whatever. You seemed to have relaxed into drawing a lot of different things and you do it well and still within your own style. That's good i think.

Try Something Traditional?
You should draw for yourself, and that usually catches one's eye, as it's more personal to you, and the people viewing may see something close about you in your work.

Same here, except I can't figure out what is popular so I end up having no direction at all. Actually there are a lot of things I would like to draw but I don't see a professional career from it. I'm starting to change my mind after seeing how a number of furry artist have indeed made it big these past few years.

I know how you feel! Sometimes it's good to draw stuff that other people will like as practice or when you just don't know what you want to do. But never forget to do something for you, because at the end of the day drawing for yourself is how every artist started. If you lose that, you lose your purpose.
