Read the Peter Pan by Regis Loisel, you'll see Peter's life was not as sweet and innocent as Disney portrayed it to be and Tinker Bell was not very nice. LOL

It's from "Regis Loisel's Peter Pan" now I don't know if this is the original Tinker before Disney or just his interpretation of her. Either way it's a great series. Very hard to come by.

Neat.
BTW, I googled this thing of which you spoke, that I might better know what you were talking about.
Google Image Search is a minefield if ever there was one, but occasionally...

Looks like Tinker Bell's twice removed step-cousin who is a regular at Spell's R Us.

This is by far the most lovely Tinkerbell I've ever seen. The tan skin and dark hair make her seem more earthy, and her wings are just beautiful. I love the way her breasts are resting. They seem to have such a weighty, flowing heft to them, like you could just sink into them.
Hmm... this is the second piece I've seen on deviantART inspired by Regis Loisel, and both quite captured my imagination. I may have to track down some of his work sometime.

Regis is great artist. I really like the way he draws fantasy characters. There was rumors that his book Roxxana was suppost to become and animation. I've seen some clip of a test preview, I really hope it gets financing it needs. It would be a terrible lost not to see it on the big screen.

Regis Loisel, that is some good reference.

Surprisingly, the wings got my attention first. They really make an already awesome piece stand out from the crowd. If Disney's Tink looked like this, I don't the Peter would have shown interest in any other girl.

I did this on a small 8x10 Strathmore paper which I regreted because there was not enough room to do any forest background like my other Woodnymph drawings.

Meh, puts more focus on the gal and her curves, which is never a bad thing

I love the wings and the sparkle. Works especially well with the background.

The hardest part about coloring is knowing when to stop. If you do to much you can overwhelm a picture. I had to bite my hand to stop.
