I'll admit, I think Axis looks good in the TFP style. He was certainly the easiest to sketch out.I love how pointy his helm is, though I'm hoping the roundness of his shoulders doesn't subtract from the design any. Knockout is actually very similar in the pointy/round ratio to Axis' original design so I don't think it's too bad.

I really like how you drew Axis's optics here. They remind me of Gambit from X-Men with the red on black, and I really feel like he's looking out from the page at me. The head design turned out nicely too, especially the dark brown forehead guard.
As for the shoulders, by themselves, they look like the head of some kind of dragon or creature with the red "eyes", which adds to the bad boy factor. But I also can't help but think that it looks like Axis is wearing one of those coats with the big furry ruff. Perhaps if you angled the "shoulder pads" more outward and spaced them apart a little more, it might make the overall effect sharper.
Anyway, nicely done!

Here I'll say I'm not quiiiite adverse to the puffy ruff look , but I agree it would most likely look a lot better without it in this design. I'll certainly play with it if I get the wild hair to draw Prime Axis again. Thanks!!

Them eyebrow's, i can just picture him wiggling them in a manner to be silly. Also for some reason his headlight's shoulder like pads make me imagine him wearing a metal scarf like thing. XD

It looks pretty good, I like his head lights they remind me of owl's eyes for some reason. And his smirk makes me wonder what sort of horrible mischief he is up to. And he is very pointy like a porcupine!.

I agree, Axis looks damn good in Prime Style. That grin is amazingly evil.
It's probably not the roundness of the shoulders as much as the largeness of them. They look a little out of proportion, but it's not something overly noticeable and they still work.
I'm curious to see Terra in Prime style now

I'll admit I didn't realize that you drew him in Prime style on the first look in my dev watch list. His look is just so very spiky and stuff, it fits Prime perfectly ~

I actually kept thinking the Prime style fits Axis so much better than any of the others. He might work somewhat in the TFA style, but the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced he belongs more in the Prime-verse. XD

His shoulder do look a lot like Knockout's, but I enjoy his head lights, they look like a second pair of eyes/optics. That gives him a good scary vibe, as well as the twisted grin of evil he has on his face.
