You know, I've never been one to wish Varian had moon powers in the show (or any connection to magic, whatsoever) - he's so special because he doesn't need inhuman power to be one of the most powerful characters in the show, and it's actually so much better this way. But! Throwing in some Moon!Varian merely for the aesthetic now and then? Sure! 😃💙

The idea for this artwork litterally popped in in the middle of the night the other day and I refused to leave again. lol.

Anyhow, this way I could try a few things I've been wanting to draw for a while now. Like the huge back tattoo, or the northern lights (which I think came out nice for my first attempt at them 💕).
. . . I could level up my water game some, though 🙃💟
