Description
Macabre Mall, in short, is an AU that takes place in the 2000s where Pod and Lizz go to a mall to watch a movie and the movie comes to life.

Here’s how the story goes:
Lizz and Pod want to hang out and they decide to watch a horror movie at the mall for fun. Although Lizz isn't the biggest fan of horror movies she decides to tough it out just for Pod. Besides, how bad can this movie possibly be?
Throughout the movie, Lizz has a sense of foreboding that something is going to happen, but she convinces herself that it's just her being scared. Afterwards, they begin to leave the theater, but Lizz forgot her phone in her seat cuz she’s stupid, so they both go back in the room to get it.
To their surprise everyone who was in the room was unconscious. Pod and Lizz are super confused and as Lizz grabs her phone she notices that there’s no service. They decide to investigate and leave the theater, but as they leave they notice it’s unusually empty. As they leave, the mall is completely empty of people and there is a creepy feeling to it. The lights are dimmed and the atmosphere gives goosebumps.
Pod and Lizz try to find ways to wake up the people and find ways to leave the mall.
Little do they know, the monsters from the movie they watched are lurking in the mall. Waiting for an opportunity to strike.

There could be a traitor and whatnot, but whoever watched the movie is whoever joins the au

POD:
ok um ermm pod is like an idiot (got it from lizz) but she’s like super duper like tough
um she is really down to earth but has an interesting sense of humor
she’s like the opposite of lizz, but she is also like happy (when she wants)

and she’s like good at surviving but yknow she isn’t really like positive about what’s happening but is forced to be positive for lizz

LIZZ:
She’s the same ol Lizz, an idiot but it's funny in a way
Lizz has stupid luck in this au, meaning that she survives and the way she does is so stupid
She doesn’t really have that much survival skill so she kinda relies on Pod a lot but isn’t useless (she’d do anything she can do help)
Although in a sense she isn’t that much help on survival skill, she can always tell when something bad is gonna happen and most of the time it’s on point so she’d warn Pod
Lizz tries her best to be positive to lift the mood
Ofc she shows that she’s scared at times but she tries to hide the fact that she’s slowly losing it
