Description I love making 3D stuff! However, not sure if I like how this came out. The lighting is bad....

Great work there. :-D I'm wondering if you have any tips on 3D rendering in Apo and what I need to do to get started. I already have the 2.06 hack. thanx again for all the great work you've done.

Thanks so much!

tips on rendering, let me think....well for starters, in the options menu, I have gama set to 1, vibrancy set to 3, and brightness set to 2. Then when I am rendering I have the following settings:

Buffer depth: 6000

Quality: 4000

fiter radius: .5

oversample: 2

I find that it renders better when the gama is on a low setting, that way I can raise the other rendering qualities without having to use so much physical space on the computer. Rendering is also shorter.

I hope that helps! If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask!

If your having trouble with lighting, you can try playing with brightness and contrast. And weights.

don't be sorry.

I should have said:

Ya, I know. But I was too lazy to mess with it too much.

Plus I'm terrible at getting the right contrast/lighting in the first place. Usually when I get something good, it's by accident.

Conversely, I don't struggle with lighting or contrast, but getting a good flame happens by accident.
