Your own hands = best reference for learning how to draw them. Once I got called on in class because I was trying to look at my left hand from a different angle and my teacher thought I had the answer XD Which I did, but it was still a little startling.
And surprisingly enough, Danny taught me how to draw hands too, and not just fists XD Yay, Danny!

I seem to find more difficult hand easier. I don't know, I guess the simple ones aren't simple to me, like an open palm. But holding objects definitely gets me.
