whenever i draw the back of hands it looks so fucking weird i mean i'm cool with palms but even when i follow a tutorial step by step or even trace something EXACTLY it just looks so weird and not right and i have no idea why

Language please. 
The back of the hands ARE hard to draw. I would be willing to bet it's the knuckles. You can get the shape right all you want, but if you don't have the knuckles right...
Because the knuckles are bones, try to put them in the middle of the finger in back. Don't connect them to the spaces between the fingers. Does that make sense?
