I made this farmer boy for an illustrated interactive fiction I'm working on. I didn't have a really good artistic direction other than a beefy farmer. I decided to do something a little different and have a tan ginger. Though, I don't have any redhead complexion skins that I like. I did a lot of Photoshopping and combined a few skins into this. The detail is better closer up, with some light freckling. As it's not dramatically ginger skin, I toned him back to being auburn.Patreon

Yup, "plane" is the right word. I used a morphing terrain, curved it, and dialed up the roughness. Also a repeating hay image. Drape the dynamic plane on top, apply the blanket image.

I answered in my first reply: "I used a dynamic script and made my own texture."
The dynamic script reforms the plane according to gravity and collision, and all the folding is from 'sliding' down the terrain/hay.
