Ah this is a great idea! The style and the colours + the blur gives a great effect! The emotion on the guy is priceless including the caption makes it even better!

This is a very well accomplished piece, and all the elements mesh together nicely. The added sense of depth from the blurred character is a nice touch, and stylistically it works well, if not realistically (there wouldn't be such a difference of focus in photography, for instance) Personally I would have moved the female character a little closer to the 'camera' to maybe accentuate it a little more, and maybe this would also present possibilities to integrate the ochres into the typography. The background is well done, as are the characters, with nice levels of detail while retaining the stylistic edge. The typography as it stands is also accomplished, alhtough I'm not sure about the font for the black "Barbeque Kitten". Maybe you could also integrate some ochres into the writing?
All in all, a highly effective piece of advertising for the troupe with a good sense of style.

I am trying to use color to make the things I want in focus to really pop out and grap your eye. Then it will beat your eye mercilessly with a tire iron until your other eye agrees to have sex with the image.
