I like their reactions. But there was no need to replace them. Instead of replacing them they should have just logically added Cherie and Caramel. It shouldn't matter if Digit became male or Tune was a minor character. They should have just kept Digits gender in Winx Club. We wouldn't mind if the gender was different in Pop Pixie since it is just a spin off. Cherie and Caramel should just have been additional characters. Also I no longer hear Mirta or Lucy anymore. Season 6+ was rubbish.

Wait, what? I attempted to watch season 5, but after episode 3 of it, I wanted to rip my eyes out from the pandering towards bloom. Now I hear two of my favorites were replaced? Those two had actual personality. They may not have commited much.. but they really were interesting and amusing sometimes. Winx Club is just a joke now...

If anyone still doesn't know, Digit was replaced because there was a spin-off series called PopPixie all about the pixies, and Digit was officially changed to be a male in it, and apparently Rainbow didn't want any of the Winx to have a male pixie...
As for Tune, I'm not absolutely sure, but rumors say that she was replaced because they thought her personality was too different from Musa's (i.e. Musa was tomboyish while Tune was more prim and proper) and that they didn't go well together.
Both of those are kind of dumb reasons, really. I mean, how can Digit just be a boy all of a sudden...? And it shouldn't matter if Tune and Musa have differences in their personalities either... if the two were already established as Tecna's and Musa's respective bonded pixies, how can they explain them just having two different pixies all of a sudden? I never watched all of season 6 since Nick got erratic with their airing, going on hiatus and moving the show to TeenNick and finally to Nick Jr. I might watch it again just to see how they explain in-universe about them having new pixies... unless someone can easily fill me in here on how they do it... IF they even attempt an explanation... and/or which episode....

Poppixie is completly uncannon in the Winx Universe.
And if you look closely you can see Digit and Tune in Season 6, Episode 24.

it's because spin-off series "PopPixie". As you can see, in new season they use Pixie's designes from PopPixie. But in PopPixie they change Digit and Tune to males. In Winx Club it was stated that there are only female pixies, so they replace them.

will yes but as you can see digit is mal and tune is the female and what is the problem if they less digit as a male i don't think they did it for that reason because if the poppixie is before the lost kigdom season 2 magical adventure they could change them from the begining but not now am i right

Yeah, but Digit and Tune were never a big part of PopPixie. By season 6 of Winx Club, they want to promote PopPixie and it's Cherie and Caramel who were big part of this show, not Tune and Digit.

Oh, so t6hat's the main reason... Well, they better do something to fix it, or they'll have a conflict inside (Mainly the fact that PopPixie actually has main Male Characters in the run). They better just forget about the fact there's no male pixies or just undo the gender change or some mumbo jumbo.
