Silly Doctor Who doodling. I shunted it into scraps since it's unfinished, but it may get painted later, when I have time.

So, this nonsense came about as a result of a friend lamenting how much it upsets her that Eleven is wearing Ten's tattered brown suit in the first episode of season 5. We got to talking about how much the costume is a part of each Doctor's persona, and the image of not only Eleven in Ten's suit but Ten in Eleven's rather eccentric get up came to mind.

Oh lord, Ten cannot pull off that fez. The bow tie maybe, but the fez... he just looks even crazier than usual. Ten has so much energy in his expressions and voice and movements, the crazy outfit is just overkill. But the rather calmer and more low key Eleven can somehow manage to express his oddballness through his clothes without looking too absurd. I don't know. Maybe he is absurd but I'm just used to it now.

Eleven has slowly been worming his way into my heart. I was so heartbroken over Ten, but I watched on anyway (eventually. I needed some time to mourn, okay?), and periodically found myself having moments of being charmed by Eleven in spite of myself. He's not my Doctor, but he's a darn good Doctor all the same.
