This was done with a Wacom Intuos Tablet and the Gimp Image Manipulation Program.... I work in traditional media mainly Oil on Canvas just started using digital media and I have to say I like it...it's cheaper to work out the details on the computer than burning through 3 or 4 canvases at 50 to 75 bucks a pop...I plan on putting this to Canvas in Oils soon an compare the 2 when done.

I have been through the Deviant Art galleries, ( not all but I am still browsing) and there is some great talent on here. Once I figure the site out I plan on commenting and liking a lot of the work on here...and even purchasing some of the work.

This is one in a series of paintings from a dream I had twice, once when my mother passed away in 2000 and again when my father died in Feb. of this year...hope you like them and stay tuned the next one will be finished soon.
