AAAAAAHHHH YES I DID IT FOR THE 3RD TIME!!NEW GUIDES!!!!
The other one was getting really long and cluttered......
SO I decided to break it up into smaller, more manageable bits!!!!
This one is: Horns and Halos
Xynthii are a CLOSED species by me, meaning you may NOT make your own!

Hello I want to ask, If I purchased a rare trait for halo, do I have to purchase another rare trait for its placement?

Nope! If you purchase a halo trait, you can put it anywhere!
The only case you need to buy more than one halo trait, is if you want it in multiple areas
(ex; 1 on head and 1 on leg would be x2 rare halo traits)
(ex 2; 1 on head, 1 around stomach, and 1 on ankle would be x3 rare halo traits)
If for example you have 3 halos on the leg(s), you'd only need x1 legendary trait, as then it goes by amount in that one place

any horns that have more than 2 horns (3, 4, 5, 6 +) is just one very rare trait

Quick questions
Lets say I want gem encrust on one of my xynthii's horns
And my xynthii has spikes on her chest, on the side of her thigh, and on her neck(cuff). The teeth material is mixed, one of teeth materials is crystal.
1) Do I need just one legendary trait to make all of the spikes on her body crystal studs? Or would that be 3 legendary traits? (for her neck, chest and thigh)
2) In addition to that ^, I would like a gem encrust on only one of my xynthii's horns (lets say she has 3 and i only want a gem encrust on her middle horn) would that cost an additional legendary trait?

okie dokie, let me get into this HAHA
1) all you need is the one legendary add-on trait. Even if you didn't want ALL the spikes to be studs, you just need the one add on trait
example; teeth is crystal, has unicorn horn, arm spikes, and leg spikes; you could do ALL the spikes and horns as studs, or even only the leg spikes into studs, and keep the arm spikes and horn as long spikes. either way, you only need the one add on trait
2) as mentioned before, no, for the add-on trait it can encompass as many horns/spikes as you want, or as little as one. Just so long as you have the crystal mixed teeth already there.

what rarity would a non listed halo be like lets say mardi gras bead halo? like where the halo is just a string of beads from mardi gras that would be of any mix of colors like red , green, blue purple or yellow ,or just where they are a halo but just balls?

All horns, halos, spikes, and teeth must be one color/material to be one rarity (all white for common/etc)
so it would only be one rare trait for the halo itself, but because it's of a different material, it would make the teeth trait mixed
so it would be 1 very rare trait + 1 rare trait

I like the idea of the "halo" horn, but the little "ball" shown there...
is that part of the horn or an add-on like with halo-objects?
'cause the only Xyn I saw with halo horn doesn't have it...
Btw couldn't Xynthiis with tentacle hair fake living horns? Like just style some tentacles up?

Cool, glad I asked, I really like the little ball and was afraid it somehow got mixed into the trait sheet, as I didn't see it on the one Xyn I saw with this hornstyle
Hehe I was just wondering 'cause I thought living horns and tentacle hair would be a little bit overkill,
already got the idea to give my tentacle-hair adopt matching tentacle tongues xD
Just need to wait until next month to get the money to buy a few traits for her ^_^
But I guess every hairstyle could be styled into "horns" just like buns (thinking of Chibiusa from Sailor Moon but "pointier"),
they would just be hairy and not any other material
