Description

The Entity does not have an official name and is not like Lucian from FatalDreams.

Entity is more like a demon in that he was summoned from a book via a ritual from the meme Squad.

Entity is the only one who is able to give Dream some kind of mental stability since Entity's negativity signature is almost the exact same as Nightmare's.

He was summoned roughly 2 years before everyone was turned to stone and he helps balance out Negativity and Positivity since Dream is no longer mentally capable of doing such things.

He is not the leading cause of Dream's hallucinations that he sees or the voice that Dream had heard that drove him to eating the golden apples.

The Entity is asexual and aromantic. He has no actual ties to Dream and only sticks around because Dream is a danger to both himself and those around him and because Dream needs him.

Dream and Nightmare grew up together and were closer than any siblings but Dream started hearing voices in his head which caused him to snap and eat the golden apples and become birb. Insert time period of them meeting their gangs, the balance is thrown all out of whack and at some point Nightmare finds this spell-book and without really thinking he and his friends preform one of the rituals and summon a negative entity. Dream is starting to lose his mind a little and is highly obsessed with Nightmare, wanting what they had back and in his deranged state ends up turning his brother to stone during a fight and due to uncontrolled powers he turns the others into stone as well. Dream very much regrets his actions and over the years has completely lost his mind due to grief and is always seeing illusions and sometimes finds his way to the negative entity which his broken mind keeps replacing with Nightmare so he usually always latches on to the entity. And after like, 500 years of everyone being in stone, Nightmare is the first to start resurfacing but Dream doesn't know this. After those 500 years he's lost all self and is now insane and sees his delusions everywhere near constantly and the negative entity is the only one currently who can snap Dream out of his insanity moments. All violins have been banned since it only reminds him of Nightmare but the entity is the only one allowed as the entity and Nightmare are very similar and in a way it not only helps Dream cope but also feeds his delusions.
