Finally get to upload this!
This is Obsidian, new and improved! I may draw her in different art styles int the future, but this will remain her design unless some thing happens in the story to change it at all. (this story ---> obsidiandragoness.deviantart.c… )
Also, something I'd like to mention, although Obsidian might look kind of like an evil character, she's really not. She's actually really friendly and kind hearted. Although she is still a tomboy and prefers action. The only time you could consider her to be "evil" is when her mind is taken over by her curse.

It's pretty easy to figure that one out if you put the pieces together.
1. Obsidian's real name is Ruby Aurum (says so in the ref sheet)
2. In the comic, Queen Emerald curses an egg, with "the magic of the shadows"
3. Emerald calls the egg "Queen Ruby"
4. Emerald says "And her heart will be as dark as Obsidian"
Conclusion: Obsidian was once named Ruby, and was cursed by her mother when she was still an egg.

Thank you! I did spend a while on it, almost discourages me from making any more reference sheets... But I won't give up that easily! I'll make reference sheets for my other characters soon enough!
