Just a coinicidence that I finished this on April fools, so I imagined a different way she ended up like that. The original concept is that she fell in during some kind of battle... so pick the scenario you like.

im not that good in analyzing the art.... actually i dont understand what's her position....
i love the color the underwater effect i will fave this im still studying in coloring do u have tutorial? may i? hehehehe ^^

Hrm... I don't have a tutorial, but I know the methods I use are very different that most others.. (which probably hurts me, and makes more work for myself)
In short.... pencils on paper, ink the lines I like, erase the pencil, stick it under a scanner at high, high resolution, (twice as high as I want the finla to be at least)...
then reduce to black and white with no grey... this avoids problems with anti-aliasing... then pick an area with the magic wand, color and shade... and.. know what?
It's been almost 3 years since ive produced a new anime pic, hehe.. (fatherhood forced me to prioritize my hobbies, and writing shoved art mostly out of the picture)
There's a ton of tutorials out there, and most of em are better artists than me
but yeah, this is still one of my favs. This character inspired a novel, ( ozero.ca for details on Lifehack) and a lot of art. I like to help, but with my sloppy methods, I think I would only mess you up more than anything.

yeah, this is one pic I'd like to redo, just for fun. It turned out good, but it's getting old, and I'd like to take another try at the concept... this and a handful of other pics... I'll get around it when my daughter is grown up, and done collage, heh. (Gah, I haven't released a pic since before she was born...)

wow is it just me, or are her breasts way to far down, or something. If she bent her head down and her waist up, she should have boobs right in her face, not below her arm? eh? just me?

The coloring on this is great (though I had no clue what it was until I clicked on the thumbnail). Your use of the bubbles is great, but her arms look strange. The overall figure needs work though...

I'm ganna sound like a broken record. but you did really well on the bubbles.
I have seen a lot of people try to draw bubbles and they hopeless. i have tried to draw bubbes and they just look like strang cricles.
the pose is really good, very life like, but her Breasts, they look like there in the middle of her stomach. other then that. i think the shading and the colation is outta this world. very very well done. :Thumbsup:

I think everyone's alrady commented on the few things that draw away from it. I'd just like to throw in my vote for great colouring and, I got to say it, I love the bubbles .

I like it. The only slight problem is that i think the breasts could be placed a little higher. Although i havent seen a woman in that position either, so i could be wrong. Great job anyhow

wow, this is very nicely drawn and colored, and about the scenario, this makes me think of a scene from lethal weap 4 i think, when mel gibsom falls into the water with a gun in his hands.. something like that .. anyways good job!

She looks great in general, but I get the feeling that her waist area is WAY too thin... Her arms seem a little short as well. But your coloring and shading is nothing short of amazing. Great work! I like the little bubbles! X3
