Description
I originally did this as a picture for the front of a birthday card for my boyfriend's mother. The present and the hat was there, but nothing else. Originally it just said, "Happy Birthday" in green changing to dark green above the present.

I added the colored backgrounds, confetti, and shadows and redid the lighting.

I have done a lot of 100X100 pieces in an effort not do overwhelm myself. My next piece, however is 200X200. I hope it turns out OK. I am not going for true realism, more of a folk-art type effect.
