Okay, now that I have some spare time I can elaborate a tad:

And old photo of Karin's (far right) family that she keeps with her at all times: it contains her younger brother Xenon (7), younger sister Sapphire (4) and older sister Levi (15). Their parents were arrested just after Sapphire was born because of their 'dangerous' abilities and the children went to live with their aunt. All went well until shortly after Karin's 11th birthday when a scouting party saw her use her telekinetic abilities to get Xenon out of a tree. She was arrested the next day and sent to a camp where she met Antonio and eventually Aero, Pyra and Cosmo. The photo is her most precious possesion as she prays to see her family well someday.
