Sometimes I do wish it was Sarah instead of her. I can't stand Sarah sometimes.
It's even sad that Faize didn't catch her name. She was also very cute to say the least. They always kill off the cute ones, huh?

A TAD slow? Come on, that's gotta be the biggest understatement I've ever heard! Let's recap some things here: The problem is with Edge and him alone!
1) Edge didn't realize that he gave really powerful Sci-Fi technology to those guys on the other dimension Earth and that they used it to DESTROY THE WHOLE FREAKIN' WORLD! (that's what started it all)
2) He didn't realize that Reimi, his best friend/girlfriend, was sick with a super-deadly disease until she almost died. I swear, if not for her... abilities... she would have died around half-way in the game.
3) When he realized it, he got a FREAKIN' depression, feeling sorry for himself, instead of learning from his weakness. It was that depression which even caused him to make the huge mistakes he did. And the result: He killed over 5 billion people, then his actions caused the death of about a few hundred more, including the girl Faize fell in love with.
Also, Faize is the only one who's remotely intelligent. If Edge had listened to him, then he had not become evil and we'd have had a much deeper story AND one more playable character.

I think they shouldn't have killed her in the game... we barely got to know her, but I still liked her. I had hoped she would have joined us instead of Sarah.
(sigh...) Alas... those guys had to make a tragedy!
Anyway, wonderful drawing! I love how you may kind of see a hint of tears in Faize's eyes.
He had so much he wished to have learnt from her... so much to have said to her... and now she was dead.
That's the impression I get from Faize's expression.
And I think the background was actually pretty good, it was quite close to the original.
I am a huge fan of Faize and Amina, and it is the main pairing in a Fanfiction I am writing. If you want to read it, I can send you a preview.
Anyway, sorry for ranting. 'tis a touching picture, and you can easily feel Faize's emotions. Really deep.

Indeed, I was suprised that they killed her off. Sometimes I think they were originally going to develop her further but axed the idea to get the game out in time :/ (just a theory because her story feels rushed).

This is a very nice piece indeed. The background isn't awful at all you were just capturing the area (...but I wouldn't know... still haven't gotten around to playing it *winces*) Your shadowing and eye effects look great, your proportions are getting much better, and once again you ('miraculously' as I'm sure you'll call it
