Description Princess Cadence after getting hit by the alien growth ray with in a few minutes was already over a 100 feet tall. Cadence looked in shock as every thing was now O scale to her. Meanwhile down below dozens of little ponies, Griffins and Changelings along with a few Diamond Dogs ran for their lives from the lab as Cadence smashed though the roof.

Princess Cadence meanwhile screamed, "What's Causing me to grow so big and so fast! I can't stop growing!"

Pretty soon she's going to out grow the universe, and she still can't stop growing.

Poor girl! And the people who ran from her.

I think you can guess one thing. Like about he picture.

Like the colors, the purple night sky, the gray towers and the blue insulators.  Don't think I ever thought of that before. But what's funny? After I saw that other picture with the three towers, the pole, and the giant gingerbread man, and talking about colored insulators, I was thinking of red insulators. Basically volors other than Indian Red, green, sepia, and light gray, and I come to this picture and see blue ones!

The reason why I show high voltage towers and power poles in my pony artworks is centered around this fan fiction idea that is based off of the 1950's Movie Animal Farm. In this one fan fiction idea of mine my OC Pony Lotto somehow ends up seeing modern humans. When he comes back to Equestira he starts trying to get Princess Celestia to build a electrical system for Equestira. In that electricity is a type of force that the humans use to overcome them not having any magical powers of their own. Lotto uses the human logic of using electricity to give power to the Earth Ponies who have no magic. When Lotto starts building power lines he also starts building modern roads and starts bringing in cars too which greatly changes the 1850's Equestira.

This artwork was made by my old artwork program photo delux before I got Inkscape. It is based around the idea of Princess Cadence, Celestia and Luna along with several other pony characters growing giant sized. Here are two more artworks with power lines in them www.deviantart.com/art/Lotto-6… and this one www.deviantart.com/art/No-wher…

Blue Glass Suspension Insulators do exist they are sort of rare.

Did you know that yellow glass or honey amber glass insulators exist but they are very rare.

Wow intetesting.

I'm afraid I've never seen Animal Farm before although I do like going as far back as the 1950s, that's hen automobiles looked better, at least to me.

No, I didn't know yellow glass or honey amber glass insulators existed. Wonder what else I don't know about them.

Left a long comment and a mess of links on one of the links you left me, showing which insulators or kinds of power towers and power poles I really adore.

If you see a old glass insulator that has no threads inside of it that is a theadless and means that it's at least a 150 years old. In that threads for insulators where invented in the 1870's by Calvert to hold insulators on pins.

Wow!

I guess I got a lot more to learn about power lines. All in good time though.

Now I'm starting to wonder when the very first lattice tower was built (I know it had to be in the early 20th century, or by then.)

Now that I mention that, I'm now starting to wonder when the first metal electric pole was invented and installed.

If you don't know, that's okay.

The first steel towers where used in the 1880's on the first high voltage lines ever built. As for metal poles they where built in areas where they didn't have trees to spare to build power poles out of. Such as Italy has a lot of steel poles from the 1910's.
