World of warcraft has three server types, player vs. monsters, where other players can't attack each other unless they both consent, player vs. player, where alliance members and horde members can attack each other on sight, and role playing servers, where players are required to be "in character" for the most part.just an observation of my experiences in different types of servers.

RpPVP my friend. It has less RPing, but still enough that it keeps the game interesting. The PVP part is the best though. XD

Lol, well, really being an rper I can't say this is my experience >.< Cause well. . . Horde and Alliance can't talk to each other first of all, additionally, r servers have a lot of people who don't rp sadly, even we have annoying people /yell ing things that they are selling all the time >.>' Eh, gets kinda annoying to be honest

Well we don't HAVE to be in character all the time. But...yeah pretty much true. Argent Dawn US is my home server but I have played on PvP and PVE servers. And both Alliance and Horde.
