World of warcraft has three server types, player vs. monsters, where other players can't attack each other unless they both consent, player vs. player, where alliance members and horde members can attack each other on sight, and role playing servers, where players are required to be "in character" for the most part.just an observation of my experiences in different types of servers.

I have friends that I RP my rogue with, but we're on a PVE server. I CANNOT bring myself to be in character all the time.. especially with how picky I am when grouping.
"Excuse me, "Fearless Warrior"-- Why did you agree to go on this adventure with us when your experiance level *links few pieces of shitty green gear* is not up to par?"

The second panel is sadly true for ALL server types. RP servers have gone straight to hades. There is some good rp but mostly it's Goldshire Girls/Guys gone wild.
And I have yet to meet ONE person who actually speaks like the dude in the first panel. XD

Lol soooooooo very true! Even if I've managed to find a guild on a PvP server that talks in complete sentances, and it's not even an end game guild. (Maybe the server is just to new still.

Lmao, the worst part of RP servers isn't the general RPing which can be fun, but the crazy uber-erotic goldshire brothel RPing. Just horrible, it's why I switched to PvP.

I never tried roleplay server, always stuck with pvp, I learned the horde's language on my alli!
