World of warcraft has three server types, player vs. monsters, where other players can't attack each other unless they both consent, player vs. player, where alliance members and horde members can attack each other on sight, and role playing servers, where players are required to be "in character" for the most part.just an observation of my experiences in different types of servers.

lol people on pvp servers are just mean and dont care about anyone else, people on pve servers are grumpy if you don't raid with them, if you do they love you but if you dont they are just mean, and on roleplay servers they are both, but they speak in whole sentances

i'veexperienced stuff like that...not the role playing bit, but people calling me n00b and all the other names under the sun... that and during my first 15 levels or so those spammers trying to get me to do that power lvl thing "only $1.95".... though that did bring me the enjoyment of reporting them

That is pretty hilarious...though I have seen lately that even RP-realms are experiencing utmost neglect towards their intended purpose...just make some RP talk and soon enough you will have to put up with a whole bunch of people telling you how stupid it is...When confronted, they will reply: "I'm roleplaying a swearing disgruntled guy, got something against?". Sad, but true...
